There's an old saying that in the past things were built to last. This certainly holds true for Tregonning Cottage. Built in 1880 of mud brick and schist, this quaint cottage still stands strong and after recent interior renovation offers comfortable accommodation that includes a proper country-size kitchen with a solid wooden dining table for six. After a day on the Rail Trail the lounge is just the place to relax, and should temperatures drop there's a new Metro log fire to keep guests cozy.
With three bedrooms featuring two singles in each, Tregonning Cottage is ideal for groups of up to six happy to share a room but not a bed.
Part of the fun of staying at Tregonning Cottage is knowing that this accommodation is on a substantial sheep and beef farm and as guests you're welcome to take a look around. |
