‘Teed up for Comfort’ is Clyde Motel’s motto, and for a very good reason. The popular riverside Dunstan Golf Course is directly over the road. So why not top off your Rail Trail adventure with a “Stay and Play” experience at Clyde Motel. Wind down and relax with a round of golf before heading home. Golf carts and clubs available for hire. Or perhaps just relax in Doreen’s lovely garden and listen to restful music played through outdoor speakers. Maybe celebrate your achieving the Rail Trail with an outdoor BBQ. For those guests heading out on the Otago Central Rail Trail, there’s a bike lock up and workshop where last minute adjustments to cycles may be carried out.
All units look out on to a lawn and garden that also has an in-ground trampoline. Doreen’s keen eye for colour and design is evident in the units where each is a different interpretation of the ‘holiday cottage’ theme. Fit out is to a very high level of quality and comfort.
The two bedroom units provide double and two singles accommodation, lounge and full kitchen. The one bedroom double units lack for nothing except a second bedroom. General facilities include Sky Television, guest laundry and freezer. For Rail Trail guests returning to Clyde Motel for their final night, Clyde Motel will store vehicles subject to availability of space. |
